Kyrgyzaltyn will receive 8.6 hectares in Kara-Balta for the construction of a fuel and lubricants warehouse - Tazabek

Tazabek — The Cabinet of Ministers identified 8.6 hectares of land in Kara-Balta for the construction and operation of a warehouse for fuels and lubricants of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC.

The corresponding changes were made by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 631 of September 18, 2026 to Resolution No. 695 of December 22, 2023.

We are talking about a sanitary protection zone with an area of 220.9 hectares, previously transferred to Kyrgyzaltyn for free use. According to the changes, this area will be divided into two parts:

  • 8.6 hectares — for the construction and operation of a fuel and lubricants warehouse;
  • 212.3 hectares will remain a sanitary protection zone.

The division of the land plot should be carried out by the State Agency for State Property Management and the state administration of the Zhaiyl region together with the authorized bodies.

According to the resolution of 2023, “Kyrgyzaltyn” was provided with free use for a period of 49 years of a land plot with an area of 531.5 ha in Kara-Balta and a sanitary protection zone with an area of 220.9 hectares.

This was due to the inventory of objects and property transferred to OJSC “Karabalta Mining Plant” and the termination of the right to use land plots (tailings ponds, sanitary protection zone) and the objects and property located on them, previously provided for use to the open joint-stock company “Karabalta Mining Plant”.

The resolution comes into force 10 days after official publication.
