Tazabek — In Kyrgyzstan, taxi drivers and couriers paid 462 million soms in taxes and insurance premiums for 7 months of 2026. This was announced on September 28 by the Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Ysabekov at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Labour, Health, Women’s Affairs and Social Issues.
According to him, of this amount, 231 million soms were taxes and another 231 million soms were insurance premiums.
“Currently, about 110 thousand people are officially employed. From each order, 1% goes as an insurance premium and 1% as a tax, that is, only 2%,” said Ysabekov.

He said that 11 companies are now acting as tax agents, including Yandex Taxi, Zhorgo, VP Taxi, Navig Taxi, Kagan Taxi, Argymak Taxi, Baibol Taxi, Dodo Pizza, Glovo, Caviar and Samolet.
