Tazabek — Digital platforms allow Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to independently search for buyers and logistics companies, economist Uran Sydygaliev said on the radio.
According to him, this could reduce the number of intermediaries and expand export opportunities. He believes that Kyrgyzstan should occupy separate niches in foreign markets, offering honey, handicrafts and other unique products.
To develop digital trade, according to Sydygaliev, stable operation of the energy and Internet infrastructure is necessary.
“If previously we were mainly engaged in re-exports, now we have a chance to become a technological and logistics hub,” the economist said.
