Tazabek — About 110 thousand people work in Kyrgyzstan in the taxi and courier delivery industry. This was announced on September 28 by the Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Ysabekov at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Labour, Health, Women’s Affairs and Social Issues.

This committee heard information from the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration on the issue of “Platform employment”.

According to him, from September 1, 2025, companies that have their own information systems and operate in the taxi and courier delivery industry are required to withhold taxes from each order.

“According to statistics, in 2026 we officially employ 110 thousand people in the taxi and courier delivery industry, and appropriate payments are made for them,” Ysabekov said.

He also said that about 30 thousand Kyrgyz entrepreneurs-sellers are registered on the international marketplaces Wildberries and Ozon, of which about 15 thousand are actively working.
